Beach Volleyball booty 640x425 Female beach volleyball players can replace bikinis with shorts at London Olympics

Beach volleyball may look very different to viewers this summer. The sport’s governing body, FIVB, will allow women to wear shorts instead of bikini bottoms at the London Olympics. The move was made to respect those in countries where “religious and cultural requirements” for dress is more stringent. Despite the ruling, woman will still have to wear shorts that are at least 1.18 inches above the knee. So no board shorts ladies. Sorry. We’ll wait to see how this affects any of the competitors or if they even decide to switch.
