Beware: The Ravens play to the final whistle
I’m just taking a wild guess here but I think Ray Lewis and his teammates are none too happy about some of the Browns shenanigans during last night’s game. On the last play, the Browns mistakenly thought it was a good idea to try and run a hook and lateral of some kind.
Unfortunately for Josh Cribbs, he received the brunt of the Ravens anger. At the :03 second mark, he is absolutely leveled following a pitch.
Apparently, earlier in the game, some Ravens felt that Brady Quinn took a cheap shot on Terrell Suggs
Following his second interception, Quinn dropped and rolled into Suggs’ right knee, drawing a 15-yard penalty and incensing the Ravens.
Suggs limped to the locker room. It’s not known how long he’ll be out. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Suggs would have an MRI on Tuesday.
“That’s an illegal blow,” Lewis said. “I don’t care how you want to look at it.”
So I’m not really sure I would call this payback but I definitely think a message was sent. Sucks that it had to involve Josh Cribbs getting knocked the F out.
