Big Bird knocked out Mitt Romney at Texas high school football game

A Texas high school football game featured fisticuffs between Big Bird and Mitt Romney. During the halftime show at Beaumont Central Medical Magnet, the Sesame Street star dropped Mitt with a vicious right cross. Of course, the whole thing was a spoof and the two made up by dancing the night away.
Whether or not this was funny is secondary to children seeing Big Bird as a vicious monster punching out political candidates. Next up? Snuffleupagus choking out Obama with his trunk. Way to teach ‘em Texas!
