Bill Simmons forgot to renew the domain, Grantland.com
A. Isaac Bill Simmons’ new website had its first hiccup Sunday when users were shown an error page that read, “grantland.com expired on 06/13/2008 and is pending renewal or deletion”. Oops. Somebody at the ESPN IT department probably got their walking papers today.

Simmons tweeted later in the day that the site had “server issues” and would be down for a few hours. You’d think a site as large as Grantland and with corporate financial backing would avoid the everyday troubles that us lowlifes face in the internet world. It almost makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know that foul-ups of this magnitude occur with something as grand as the “worldwide leader”.
