BLUE JACKETS FAN TACKLES OCTOPUS THROWER; CLAIMS TO BE INTERNET HERO

Supposedly in Columbus, they are a bit perturbed that Red Wings fans have been littering their ice with octopuses (and yes, it is octopuses, not octopii)….

Some fans have resorted to assaulting said octopus throwers and claiming to be internet heros afterwards….

One of these fans is pictured above in a cowboy hat tackling a fan. Why he’s wearing a cowboy hat in Columbus is beyond my level of understanding…

But after doing some research, Guyism found that this guy was celebrated on hockey message boards…

That was in Section 101, right? I saw that one. Wings fan looked like he was going to stuff the squid through the camera hole in the glass but (edit) someone jumped the guy. It also looked like everyone in the area got to stomp on the octopus.

Yeah section 101. If anyone sees Top Shelf at the R-Bar on Thursday buy him a beer. He did the Blue Jackets fans a major solid. The other fans where holding it up like a severed head. People were stomping on it. It was totally awesome.

Hmm, last I checked, abusing animals got Michael Vick a few months in the slammer…Take note Blue Jackets fans

Speaking of, the internet hero who made the tackle pictured above had this to say

Hey thanks all. Just doin what I hope everyone else in my situation would do.
As I say.. they can throw whatever they want on their own ice….just don’t disrespect ours.
Would have much rather taken a win over ramming that punk’s head in the glass but is what it is…

Hmm…so they abuse animals and people in Columbus…Awesome. And people wonder why the Buckeye state is so “beloved” nationwide

But hey, sometimes sports is life or death….I think I read that in the “I’m an a-hole” manual somewhere
