The 2012 London games came to a close last night in spectacular fashion with appearances by some of Britain’s greatest bands. But it was mayor Boris Johnson who stole the show with his awkward dance moves during the Spice Girls routine.

It bears repeating—Boris Johnson is unintentionally hilarious. Over the last few weeks, he’s done his best to bring high comedy to the Olympics by getting stuck on ziplines and hangin’ with the Terminator. We’ll miss him dearly and can only hope Rio de Janiero’s mayor looks just as uncomfortable doing the samba four years from now.
