Brandon Marshall has this ‘Suck for Luck’ thing down to a science

By most standards, Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall had a good game on the stats sheet–6 catches for 109 yards. Not too shabby considering he was on “Revis Island” for a majority of the game.

But as they say, stats don’t begin to tell the whole story.

We highlight two plays below that really make you wonder if Marshall is part of the league-wide conspiracy to “Suck for Luck.”

It’s somewhat understandable for Marshall to drop a touchdown pass. As Ron Jaworski points out, he’s been targeted seven times this season in the red zone and has come away with one reception.

That said, um, why did you just run out of bounds sir? Perhaps you could give us an explanation for that. Maybe, instead of getting ejected from the game, Marshall’s plan all along was to just get benched.

Yea, that sounds like a more fitting explanation.

What'd you think of this?
