Braves fan in wedding dress is your fan pic of the year
A. Isaac Saturday’s Braves-Nationals game featured a drunk man in a wedding dress running on the field. Needless to say, he was arrested, but not before the world got a good look at his garter belt.
Not only did the fans have a good laugh at this one, the players on the field did as well. Well, except for Tyler Clippard, the Nationals pitcher who was on the mound when it occurred.
“Yeah, that was something I had never experienced before,” said Clippard, who took a few warmup pitches after the field was clear and then got Freddie Freeman to fly out to end the inning for his big league-leading 24th hold. “I mean, I’ve seen it happen, but I’ve never been on the field when it’s happened. It was kind of frustrating, threw off my rhythm a little bit, but you know, I got through it.”
