Brett Favre, who is entangled in a web of sex, lies and dongs apologized to teammates for being a distraction.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Vikings had a team meeting this morning and Favre addressed the situation. And don’t worry, he plans to play “lights out” tonight. At issue of course are the voicemails and pictures Deadspin.com released last Thursday that supposedly came from Jenn Sterger’s phone . While the messages have not been confirmed, two massage therapists have now come forward and also accused the quarterback of sending them some rather naughty stuff.

Now that the NFL is looking into the matter, it’s very possible there could be disciplinary actions for Favre. How ironic would it be if somehow his “start streak” was snapped not because of injury, but because of suspension.

All in all, a big problem for Favre. And no, after seeing the pictures ourselves, we don’t mean that literally.
