Like you didn’t know this was coming. After a visit from three of his closest friends on the Vikings to his home in Mississippi, Brett Favre is now back with the team. Shocking, I know.

The Vikings said on their website Wednesday morning that Favre was scheduled to practice with the team, less than 24 hours after they sent three of his closest friends to Mississippi to bring him back after another summer of indecision. The team said Favre planned hold a news conference after practice

Is there any athlete out there that succumbs more to peer pressure than Favre? Brad Childress heads down there and shows Brett his loyalty by shooting armadillos and the guy doesn’t budge.

But you send a couple of fat white guys and a kicker and all of a sudden, he’s putty in their hands.
