Bruce Feldman was never suspended according to ESPN

The Bruce Feldman situation at ESPN seems to have reached a denouement. The World Wide leader released this statement just a few minutes ago.
“There was never any suspension or any other form of disciplinary action. We took the time to review his upcoming work assignments in light of the book to which he contributed and will manage any conflicts or other issues as needed. Bruce has resumed his assignments.”
Whether the Feldman suspension was rescinded or there was actually no suspension is something only ESPN knows for sure. It is somewhat odd, however, that Feldman’s Twitter account was inactive yesterday for the first time since May 28th.
I’m thinking we’re going to need a “30 for 30″ to break this whole debacle down. In the meantime though, here’s SB Nation’s Spencer Hall’s excellent take on the matter.
