Andrew Ference 263x214 Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference gives Montreal the one finger salute

The Bruins-Habs rivalry is as good as it gets in hockey. And this series is shaping up to be a classic after Boston tied up the series 2-2 in overtime last night. Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference got in the action when he scored midway through the second period cutting Montreal’s lead to 3-2. In his overly excited state, he also saluted the pompous Canadiens’ crowd with the middle finger, something he regretted immediately.

‘I just saw it and I know it looks really bad, but I can assure you that is not part of who I am,” said Ference. ”I apologize. That is not part of my repertoire. My glove got caught up there.”

I’m willing to forgive the guy, seems like he was caught up in the moment. Judge for yourself how harsh this bird is.
