As has been mentioned many times already, Butler shot 18.8% from the field in yesterday’s national title game. According to stat geek Ken Pomeroy, it was the lowest 2-pt field goal percentage by a team this year. People will remember Butler for their incredible run to back-to-back national championship games, but sadly, their performance yesterday will be the thing that sticks out most in peoples minds.

This is not something you see everyday. Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Mike Vrabel was arrested and charged with a Class D felony for stealing from a casino. No, he wasn’t stealing chips or trying to rig a slot machine, Vrabel stole bottles of liquor from a deli inside the casino. He was later released on $600 bond and gave this statement. “It was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and I take full responsibility for the miscommunication,” Vrabel told ProFootballTalk.com in a statement through his agent Neil Cornrich. “I feel comfortable that after talking with the appropriate parties, we will resolve this matter.”

The #2 ranked golfer in the world, Lee Westwood, had a close call Sunday, and it wasn’t on the course. Westwood’s private plane caught fire in the cockpit and had to make an emergency landing. “We were a couple of minutes out of the airport,” Westwood told The Telegraph of London. “It was a bit scary. It never looks good when you can smell smoke and you turn ’round and see the pilots have put the masks on.
