Caddie trips over rope, bends putter—golfer still makes birdie

A. Isaac Senior Editor

You see what had happened was…During the first round of the Wells Fargo Championship, Chesson Hadley’s caddie, Josh Svendsen took a misstep, tripped over a rope. The result was quite hilarious.

After examining the clubs, Hadley told a rules official that he believe the putter was bent. The rules official wisely let him continue on because, let’s be honest, that caddie would have been fired otherwise. Good job all around team.

And now here’s that moment all over again, set to DMX.
