Cheerleaders of the 2011 NCAA basketball tournament

Having trouble filling out your bracket? Confused as to which team runs the better offense and which one can guard the perimeter better than the other? Well, this post probably won’t help you in that regard. It will, however, help you identify which cheerleading squad brings the most to the table. And in the end, isn’t that what’s important?
So without further adeiu, the cheerleaders of the 2011 NCAA basketball tournament.
Ohio State may be the creme of the crop this year having won the Big Ten regular season and tourney crowns, but watch out for a hungry Washington team that came on late in the year. Kentucky’s young but Brandon Knight is more than capable of taking over in crunch time.

The defending champ Duke Blue Devils were handed a gift from the selection committee by giving them a cakewalk all the way to the Final Four. But last week, Duke’s own Bobby Hurley told us that Texas was the most talented team in the country and he wouldn’t be surprised to see them take it down this year. Well Bobby, as you can tell from the pictures below, their cheerleaders are also pretty talented.
Notre Dame has had one of their best seasons in recent memory and many thought they would get a #1 seed but alas, the Kansas Jayhawks of the Big 12 just had too much punch. ROCK-CHALK-JAYHAWK all the way to the championship game boys and girls. On a side note, a tip of the hat to the ladies of Louisville. Who knew Kentucky inbreds could produce such beauty.
The most wide open bracket of the tournament with Pittsburgh of the Big East leading the way. The Spartans of Michigan State have had a disappointing season but they’re the same team that went to back-to-back Final Fours the last two seasons. Don’t be surprised to see a lot of upsets here, especially in the later rounds.
