Cleveland responds to the LeBron James Nike commercial
When LeBron James hosted “The Decision”, the entire city of Cleveland held their breath. Most had heard the rumors only hours before–their beloved savior was going to Miami to play with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. But there were some out there that still had hope that he wouldn’t dare put on a circus and embarrass them.
Unfortunately, they were sorely mistaken.
As a NBA fan, I felt bad for the city and fans. LeBron had every right to choose whatever team he wanted, but doing so in the manner he did reeked of an over-inflated sense of himself.
Which brings us to the video below
There have been several LeBron “Rise” commercials spoofs in the last few weeks, most recently South Park’s rendition this past Wednesday. A majority of them were done playfully, a knock on King James here and there.
But this response by “the city of Cleveland” is about as cold-hearted as you can get. We get it guys, you hate LeBron. Let’s take the butthurt down a notch though.
