Poor Todd Woodbridge. He’s only been a tennis commentator for a handful of years and now, he’s got his foot firmly in his mouth. After sending a text to fellow commentator Rennae Stubbs about Kim Clijsters and how he believed she may be pregnant, word got back to the tennis great.

And in a post-match interview yesterday, she confronted Woodbridge about it. Suffice to say that Woodbridge was caught off-guard, especially when Clijsters revealed the entirety of the message.

“She looks really grumpy and her boobs are bigger”. Cardinal rule–DON’T EVER INQUIRE ABOUT A WOMAN’S POSSIBLE PREGNANCY.

Glad the two of them can share a laugh about it. Luckily, this whole rumor mongering happened at the Australian Open and not Wimbledon or anything. I can’t imagine that interview taking place in front of the Queen at Centre court.
