CONFESSIONS OF A PISTONS FAN

I didn’t get to write a season preview for the Pistons this year. Frankly, I’m not sure why.
I mean, It could be because the Pistons just don’t bring me excitement anymore,
it could be because they are bringing back the same cast of players from their previous runs,
it could be because they are bringing in a head coach with virtually no experience…
Feel free to pick one here…
And as much as I hate to say it, there are times when I just don’t feel like rooting for guys like Rasheed Wallace. A guy who’s lazy as hell, complains all the time, and brings down his teammates with him.
I secretly am still wishing Joe Dumars realizes he’s made a colossal mistake and gets rid of him and Tay for an all-star.
But truthfully, I know there isn’t a team out there stupid enough to take a headcase like Sheed.
So I’m stuck rooting for the same group of guys until the Eastern Conference finals when they spread their legs like Paris Hilton and let the next hot team go to town on them.
As a fan, thats not something I’m looking forward to….(especially considering the mental image of Paris spreading her legs)
At the very least last night, the Pistons took care of business. Although, I have to say if Mike Dunleavy had played, it could have been another story. And if you haven’t seen Danny Granger play, you’re really missing out.
Here are some good takes from the Piston game last night from some other sites…
