Crowd chants “Jerry sucks” as they are denied access to Super Bowl
We hit on this briefly early this morning, but close to 400 ticket holders at the Super Bowl last night didn’t actually have a seat for the game. Though the NFL later remedied the situation by giving fans free merchandise, food, $2400, and tickets to next year’s game, it still was an embarrassing black eye for the league.
The person to blame in the whole mess was none other than Jerry Jones and the Cowboys stadium staff who promised temporary seating that was not completed at game time. I guess that’s what happens when you try desperately to set an attendance record.
Anyways, as fans got to the gate, they were told they would have to wait as things got sorted out. Needless to say, they weren’t happy with Jerry and company and began protesting and chanting outside the stadium.
And yes, we agree, “Jerry sucks”!
