Dallas Braden tosses perfect game

Dallas Braden, known more for his theatrics involving Alex Rodriguez this year, threw the 19th perfect game in MLB history yesterday. The feat is even more impressive when you consider it came against the Rays. A team that has only lost 9 times this season and is arguably the best in baseball.

Braden threw 109 pitches and amazingly, it was his FIRST career complete game. This has Hollywood storyline written all over it. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we see Dennis Quaid strapped in an A’s uniform at the local park working on his change-up.

As for Braden’s feud with A-Rod, that’s in the past. But his grandma wanted to give the centaur a bit of a reminder.

“Let’s forget it, uh huh — and stick it, A-Rod,” said a chuckling Peggy Lindsey.
