Derek Anderson has press conference meltdown

Derek Anderson does not think it’s funny. He does not find your question funny sir, and he certainly wasn’t laughing, contrary to what you saw on TV.

In the midst of San Francisco’s beat down of Arizona on Monday Night Football, cameras caught Anderson yucking it up on the sideline with teammate Deuce Lutui. Naturally or foolishly (depending on your view), a reporter asked him in the post-game press conference, “what was so funny”–and that’s when Derek Anderson had his moment. Maybe not as sound bite worthy as Jim Mora’s “playoffs” or Denny Green’s “crown their ass”, however, in the annals of press conference meltdowns, it’s definitely an honorable mention.
