No doubt that Martha Reeves will never, ever be confused with the Brightest and Best….

But you’d think she would at least know the difference between the Detroit Lions, a NFL team and the Lions Club, one of the largest service club organizations in the world…

She listed the Detroit Lions logo on her re-election pamphlet and said she was a member…

Uh, what???


One of the logos listed is the Detroit Lions. The NFL-protected logo cannot be used without permission. If used improperly, a person or organization can be sued.”I am a member of the club — The Lions Club. All of those organizations I am a member of,” Reeves told Local 4.

However, Reeves was apparently referring to the service organization.

I wish there was a good joke in here…Like, the 0-16 Lions are so bad that husky councilwoman Martha Reeves is slated for the offensive line…

I think that would make her a member right?
