Dirk Nowitzki celebrates championship in German hometown
A. Isaac Dirk Nowitzki was given a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Würzburg, Germany yesterday. Thousands showed up to greet him and a mini-parade was held that included cheerleaders, chants of “MVP”, and Dirk waving from a balcony like he was royalty. Although it’s early in the season, I’m ready to proclaim this as”The Summer of Dirk“.
