Though Donovan McNabb has not had a great season statistically (13 games played), you think he would have proved enough to get respect from head coach Mike Shanahan. But the benching of McNabb has ruffled a few feathers in the nation’s capital. The quarterback voiced his displeasure on a local radio station yesterday telling them, “I was pulled back by it. All of a sudden you get this news a couple of days before the game, you do feel somewhat disrespected,” McNabb said. “You could have told me earlier or at least prepared me for it”.

Congrats to the lady Huskies basketball team who broke the mark set by the UCLA Bruins for the longest winning steak in NCAA history. UConn dominated the 20th ranked Seminoles from start to finish in a 93-62 affair. Maya Moore paced the way with a ho-hum 41 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Simply another day at the office both for Moore and the entire Huskies squad.

The fight everyone wants to see in boxing is Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather. Instead, next May, we get to see the best pound for pound fighter of all-time face off against Sugar Shane Mosley…how exciting. At 39, not only is Mosley well past his prime but he hasn’t even performed well when winning the last few years. His 0-1-1 recent streak isn’t exactly going to make fans want to pay $69.99 for this bout on Pay Per View.
