ESPN’s Body Issue includes heavily photoshopped athletes

Hope Solo, Alicia Sacramone, and a host of other athletes graced this year’s ESPN the Magazine Body Issue. An annual issue that, according to ESPN, celebrates the natural beauty of the human body.

As one astute observer points out, it’s kinda odd given the heavily edited nature of said photos.

Irony aside, one of our personal favorites, tennis hottie Vera Zvonareva made the issue. We feel obligated to tell you she was one of Guyism’s 15 sexiest female athletes of summer 2011. So yea, we fancy ourselves as a modern day John the Baptist.
