Fans blame slutty cheerleaders for Crystal Palace F.C’s poor play

When all else fails, when your team isn’t performing up to standards, when they simply can’t put the ball in the net, blame the slutty cheerleaders. That’s exactly what the Crystal Palace F.C. has done, opting to use the scantily clad ladies as a scapegoat for their abysmal 21st place showing in England’s tier 2 soccer division.

‘They are just pole dancers on grass and they should be stopped – they are not doing the team any favours,’ said one internet blogger.
Gareth Pollock, 24, said: ‘When they come out waving their pom-poms I just hang my head.’
He added: ‘They put everyone off the game – you see the players eyeing them up when they should be focusing on the game. The sooner they go the better.’

Judging from some of the pics we’ve seen of these ladies, they don’t seem that much different than any other cheerleading squad we hold in high regard here in the States. Sure, maybe the cleavage is a bit more abundant and their skirts ride a bit high on their knickers, but truthfully, the team sucks. They have played in the 2nd division for the better part of the last decade so the fans obviously need some kind of distraction. If that comes in the form of “pole dancers on grass” so be it. Let the man who disproves of hot, half-naked cheerleaders cast the first stone.
