FAU announcer melts down on air

Earlier this year, we highlighted a somewhat peculiar play call from the FAU Owls. Down 30-14 with less than three minutes to play against MSU, coach Howard Schnellenberger elected to go for a field goal. It was a massive brain fart that was made much worse when, on the ensuing kickoff, they kicked away.

The decision was so embarrassing for the school that Schnellenberger actually apologized to the players, fans, and alumni a few days later. What does this have to do with the video below? Well, in short, this past weekend, FAU announcer Dave Lamont went crazy over a late hit in a game that was well out of reach. So, after listening, just imagine what was said during the MSU debacle
