Fiery confrontation between Little League president and parents

A. Isaac Senior Editor

Little League baseball is serious business folks. Just ask these people who were booted out of a game rather harshly by the league’s president.

There’s obviously more to this story than just the video. Apparently, the fans in questions were berating the umpire who halted the game and called league president, John Rudolph Kirkland. They weren’t too pleased with the way Kirkland handled the situation (as evidenced in the video) and now have this petition going to have him removed.

THIS PETITION HAS BEEN CREATED ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL MEMBERS OF KIRKLAND AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUE TO URGE THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO REMOVE JOHN RUDOLPH FROM THE POSITION OF PRESIDENT OF THE LEAGUE AND FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE REASONS LISTED BELOW TO INCLUDE BEHAVIOR UNBECOMING A LEAGUE OFFICER, LACK OF PROPERLY EXECUTING THE DUTIES OF PRESIDENT AND TO PREVENT ANY FURTHER DEGRADATION OF OUR LEAGUE.
1. SCREAMING, YELLING AND DISPLAYING BEHAVIOR UNBECOMING A LEAGUE PRESIDENT OR BOARD MEMBER AT EVEREST PARK. REGARDLESS OF THE GUILT OR INNOCENCE BY THE FAN VERBALLY ATTACKED, KIRKLAND LITTLE LEAGUE CAN NOT TOLERATE THE BEHAVIOR DISPLAYED BY A LEAGUE OFFICIAL.

Listen, I don’t know much about this whole argument you guys are having but I’m siding with the League President here. If only, because I don’t support people who write in ALL CAPS. I know you’re angry and all but STOP SCREAMING AT ME. I’m sensitive.

What'd you think of this?
