Although the National Championship remains one of the pinnacles of a basketball player’s career, it pales in comparison to playing fodder for the Harlem Globetrotters.

Butler seniors Willie Veasley, Avery Jukes and Nick Rodgers signed a one-day contract to play for the very esteemed Washington Generals for a game against the Globetrotters Wednesday. A contest that is sure to be as highly competitive as a rousing game of “duck-duck-goose.”

Just a word of advice to these three young men. Try not to be dazzled by that crazy weave….beware of the Meadowlark Lemon sky-hook…..and of course, watch out for that sneaky bucket of confetti
