Gina Carano’s official debut on the big screen won’t occur until Jan of 2012, but here’s a sneak peak at her first flick, Haywire.

That was a bit unexciting to say the least. While the plot seems fair, putting Gina Carano in a movie and not exploiting her “assets” seems like a damn waste of time. That is, unless the venerable Steven Soderbergh believes she will make it as an actress–and if that’s the case, I must ask…..um really?

As a fan I’m more than ready to accept that her days in MMA are probably over. But I’m only willing to do that if Carano, at the very least, shows some skin in these flicks.

I mean, I can’t go from weigh-ins where she disrobes to action packed movies where she’s fully clothed. No sir, we all lose in that scenario.

And below is an interview that Gina recently did at the 2011 Comic-Con discussing the movie, the director, and what she did to prepare for the role.
