Gus Johnson, the voice of countless NCAA tournament games over the years, has parted ways with CBS according to Richard Deitsch of SI.com. Johnson had been with them for close to 15 years. But don’t worry Gus fans, you can still catch his incessant screaming and nifty phrases during boxing matches, Big Ten basketball games, and if you’re a gamer, EA Sports Madden NFL 11. He’ll land on his feet elsewhere. However, not having Gus for tournament games is a damn crime. Nobody, and I mean nobody can make a meaningless dunk in a 2, 15 seeded game seem more exciting than him.
