Hank Baskett reminds us how awesome it is to be a fringe NFL player

This is sports related in the sense that Vikings WR Hank Baskett occasionally masquerades as an NFL player. His wife, former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson also occasionally masquerades as someone who has skills that don’t include taking her clothes off (more on that later).
In yesterday’s riveting and somewhat explicit episode of Kendra, the Baskett family eagerly awaits word on whether Hank has made the cut for the Philadelphia Eagles. It should be noted that this was obviously filmed months ago during training camp and Baskett has since been released by Philly and picked up the Vikings. If you want to know why Hank’s been on four teams in two years, well, go look at game tape of last year’s Super Bowl. It was his “muffed snatch” of the Saints onside kick that led to a huge momentum shift in the second half. Needless to say, the incident led to his dismissal from the Colts in the off-season.
All that aside, here’s video of Hank telling Kendra that he’s still worthy of the Eagles services. It’s a tearful moment for them and for the viewers–not only because he still has a job but because people are forced to painstakingly watch them act.
Yea, that part at the end just shows you how awesome it is to be a fringe wide receiver in the NFL. Not only does your smokin hot wife parade herself in skimpy lingerie but then, she hooks you up with a “man cave”. Suffice to say that Hank Baskett might be the luckiest SOB alive. Well, him or the two guys who peeped on Kendra after she hopped out of the shower (video below). Amazingly, it takes her several moments to cover up–and yes, the irony of a Playboy model hiding her topless body is not lost here.
