High school player jumps over everyone to block kick

The video and title pretty much speak for themselves here. Drew Janer, the athletic freak of nature in the clip, not only needed an incredible vertical leap to avoid the offensive/defensive linemen but he had to time the snap count as well.

And yea, he did that perfectly.

Unfortunately, it appears as if Janer’s incredible play was ruled illegal. Some states have a “hurdling” penalty that prevents players from jumping over others to prevent injury. I’m guessing that’s why the ref threw a flag. That, or he just felt sorry for the holder that got obliterated on the play.
