Is the ladies Wimbledon final in doubt?

Will Agnieszka Radwanska be 100% tomorrow night for the Wimbledon ladies final? That’s the question many are asking today after Radwanska skipped out on a pre-match news conference because of illness. After defeating Angelique Kerber in Thursday’s semifinal, Radwanska suffered a severe coughing fit and was forced to leave a press conference.
The WTA has confirmed she has an upper respiratory infection of some kind. How serious it is remains to be seen but either way, terrible news for both Radwanska and tennis fans. The 23-year-old Polish player was on the verge of becoming the #1 player in the world and has been the most consistent player on tour this year.
Sure, she could pull out something miraculous, akin to the Michael Jordan flu game. But already at a disadvantage facing the more experienced Serena Williams, that seems unlikely. Damn shame too, this could have been a great match.
