It’s just high school football people

In a lame attempt to fire up his troops for an upcoming game, an assistant coach attributed racial slurs to an opposing coach.

And of course, none of them were true.

A Melvindale assistant varsity football coach had been accused of posting fliers with racial slurs in the varsity football locker room before Melvindale’s varsity football team left for their game at Wyandotte Roosevelt on Oct. 16. The fliers were made to look as though Wyandotte head coach Ron Adams wrote them.

The Melvindale assistant has since been terminated by Melvindale administrators.

I realize that high school football is king in some areas and some of these people have no lives, but when is it ever ok to ruin someone’s life for a measly regular season win.

Now if this were the State Championship….sure, have at it. Post fliers of the opposing coach with kiddie porn, thai hookers, and donkey shows. That oughta fire up the other team.
