Jenn Sterger is not in it for the money

You really have to hand it to Jenn Sterger and her PR team. Every time you think she’s going to disappear for a few weeks, she somehow, comes creeping back into the spotlight.

The latest news involves Sterger’s representatives claiming she had no financial interest in the Brett Favre sexting scandal. That directly refutes a story from earlier in the week from Favre’s agent, Bus Cook, who said that numerous overtures were made for a settlement from the Sterger camp.

“There have never been any conversations (about money) other than the one time I talked to Bus Cook a day before the story broke,” New York-based manager Phil Reese said in a phone interview. “He asked if we had a specific figure in mind. I told him, ‘I wish it was that easy. I really wish it was.’

“There have been absolutely no settlement talks. When this happened two years ago, (Sterger) wanted no part of this mess. It really sucks for everyone involved. It’s not like we’re angling a way to profit off this. It’s really a terrible situation here. There are no winners here.”

Somebody’s clearly lying here and considering both parties proclivity to tell a fib or two, we’ll probably never find out the real truth. Honestly, it doesn’t matter either way at this point as the story has run its course as far as I’m concerned. We have the pics, the voicemails, the sexts, the massage therapists, the lying, and the wife on Good Morning America. The only thing this was missing was the obligatory sex tape from Jenn Sterger’s past. Which, if you must know, I’m more than interested in purchasing.
