Rumor: Jerry Sandusky pimped out boys in Second Mile to Penn State donors

There were rumors late last night that a more explosive story was coming with the Jerry Sandusky-Penn State scandal and it appears Mark Madden let the cat out of the bag this morning on WEEI.

If you recall, Madden is the writer who originally broke the Sandusky story back in April, so on that front, he has some legitimacy. That being said, as of now, there is no outside confirmation about what you’re about to read and hear.

According to Madden, Sandusky, with the the aid of Second Mile, pimped out young boys to Penn State donors. Hear what he specifically said on WEEI this morning (video via Bob’s Blitz)

A shocking allegation to say the least and if this is indeed true, you can pretty much write Penn State’s obituary now. As it stands, the Education Department will investigate whether Penn State violated federal law in handling of child sex abuse allegations. According to CBS legal analyst Jack Ford, they could stand to lose funding if found guilty of those charges.

So yea, not a good day for Penn State University, its administration, its students, and its alums. Above all though, not a good day for mankind as it appears adults, who are charged with the care of children, were not only complicit in sexual abuse, but may have participated in it.
