VIDEO: Jim Thome hits 600th home run
A. Isaac Here’s Jim Thome’s 600th home run against the Detroit Tigers tonight.
Thome came into the game two shy of the historical number and added number 599 and 600 on back to back at-bats in the 6th and 7th inning. He becomes the 8th player in MLB history to accomplish the feat. Also fitting that it came against the Tigers, a team he has hit 65 home runs against in his career. More than any other team.
