JIM ZORN CALLS THE LIONS A TREMENDOUS TEAM

Jim Zorn, coach of the Washington Redskins shall now be referred to as the worst liar in the history of sports…Well, its either that or Zorn decided to smoke some serious crack before his conference call with reporters the other day…

You just turn on the video. I think the Detroit Lions are a tremendous team. Look at the day they had even two weeks ago against New Orleans. Special teams are playing well, their offense, I mean they have a young QB and I think he’s going to be an excellent quarterback and he probably already is,

Ok, let’s break this down for a second.

Did the word tremendous change to mean “huge piles of elephant manure” in the last few years. I readily admit to being out of school for awhile so maybe I’m out of the loop for some of the new definitions.

As far as the day they had against New Orleans…uh, they got blown out Jim. The Saints scored 28 points in the first half.

(Its at this point where Redskins fans should start to wonder if Jim Zorn is not only a capable coach, but a sane and functioning human being)

And now we come to the quote about Matthew Stafford. “An excellent quarterback”. I’m sorry, I must be stupid. I was at that game last Sunday and I swear to you I saw him throw two of the worst interceptions I’ve ever seen. In fact, at halftime, there was this pee-wee football team playing and I would have considered starting that 8 year old kid over him. At least he was smart enough to not throw it directly into the other team’s arms.

Oh yea, 5 ints and a QB rating of 40 Jim. An excellent quarterback? Hell, let’s induct Matthew into the Hall of Fame right now. At least we know we’ll have some eye candy at the ceremony.
