Joe Johnson is not well liked in Atlanta

After getting blown out again by the Orlando Magic en route to a series sweep, the Atlanta Hawks may have to make some off-season moves to please their fan base. Causing the fans particular angst is Joe Johnson who was mercilessly booed at tip-off last night and is quickly becoming persona non-grata in Atlanta.

It stems from comments Johnson made about the fans after Saturday’s 30 point loss at home.

“We could care less if they show up”

And then last night after yet another poor Joe Johnson performance, he followed it up with.

“It doesn’t bother me, man,” said Johnson, who’s last shot was a 25-foot airball as the shot clock ran down. “I’ve got thick skin. I’ve been booed louder than that.”

And of course the fans took to the message boards and forums to vent their frustration. None were as clever though as this Atlanta Craigslist Ad.
