John Isner awarded oddly shaped “Virgin Trophy”
A. Isaac Wimbledon marathon man John Isner has been the making the rounds lately. After beating Frenchman Nicolas Mahut, he’s barely had time to breathe, seemingly granting every interview request and media appearance that comes his way.
Earlier this week, he appeared on David Letterman to do the Top 10 list and last night threw out the first pitch at the Yankees game.
But somehow in the Isner media firestorm, we missed this prestigious award given to him by billionaire Richard Branson. The Virgin Trophy (named after Branson’s Virgin Brand) “recognizes men and women who go that extra mile, who challenge themselves beyond normal human limitations”. Certainly Isner fits that bill. Let’s just hope he doesn’t go that extra mile with this extremely phallic looking trophy.
After all, nothing says “Virgin” than a 3 foot long mounted dildo….with hot blond Holly Branson to boot.
