Jonathon Papelbon’s days as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox have come to a close. The man who was instrumental in bringing Boston their second World Series in 2007 signed with the Phillies in November after they flashed $50-million dollars in front of him. Papelbon’s inability to finish games with the same consistency as he did earlier in his career proved to be a motivating factor for the Red Sox organization.
The move to Philadelphia has forced Papelbon to unload his Boston penthouse which sits less than two miles away from Fenway Park in the luxurious Beacon Street district. His asking price? A mere $3.1 million dollars!
Some features of the penthouse:
-2,500 square feet
-4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
-hardwood and marble flooring
-gourmet kitchen
-two Fenway seats
-Rooftop access to hot tub
