Kareem Jackson cockfighting NFL player tweets photos from cockfight

Kareem Jackson of the Houston Texans probably didn’t realize his tweets were being monitored so closely. But when you tell people you were at a cockfight and you post pictures of said event, well then, surprise, people are going to notice.
Jackson, who plays cornerback, was in the Dominican Republic on vacation when he attended the “sporting event”.

“My first time ever seeing chicken fight till the death it was crazy… “
“Look at all these people that be at these chicken fights, you would think its a college football game.”

My thoughts on cockfighting aside, I’m not sure Jackson will face any punishment for the tweets. The NFL has a personal conduct policy but technically, Jackson didn’t do anything wrong as cockfighting is legal and is actually widely popular in the country.

The only thing Jackson did, as far as his PR people are concerned, is tweet the photos. Something I’m sure he regrets as the photos have now been erased from his account.
