Kevin Garnett gave Ray Allen the cold shoulder last night

Ray Allen tried to make nice with former teammate Kevin Garnett last night and received a cold shoulder in response.

In the preseason, Garnett said he lost Allen’s phone number. Insinuating the two weren’t on friendly terms after Allen left for the Heat. Whether this was just a “TV moment” or an actual feud remains to be seen.

Personally, I’m hoping for the latter. The NBA needs more rivalries, needs more players hating each other. Give me the old school Bad Boys vs. Bulls over this butt-slapping circle jerk the NBA has evolved into the last two decades.
