Where were you when you heard the news?

Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce from her NBA husband Kris Humphries today after a grueling 72 day marriage which netted her somewhere in the neighborhood of $20 million.

Kardashian will file for divorce this morning, after 72 days of not-so-wedded bliss to Kris Humphries … TMZ has learned.

We’re told even though the marriage was short, she will not seek an annulment. It’s a garden variety divorce, in which Kim cites “irreconcilable differences.”

We’re told the date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.

Of course, she made Kris sign a prenup agreement; to make sure he got his cut of the take from this whole sham, one would assume.

The best quote so far? “On some levels,” says a friend, “she feels like she made a mistake.”

*slowly lowers gun from side of temple*

Can everyone please now join me in hating this woman? And if there were any of you that for even a second thought that this marriage (and the stupid wedding) were real in the first place there are some people who would like to speak with you.
