I know the Duke-UNC game is a big deal. And I know that in North Carolina, there isn’t much else to watch except college basketball and NASCAR

But seriously, getting meningitis while waiting for the game is probably a bit overboard….

A freshman at Duke who had been camped out waiting for basketball tickets was diagnosed Tuesday with meningococcal meningitis, WRAL news reports.

The student is being treated at Duke Hospital. The student’s roommates and the students she had been camping in a tent with in “Krzyzewskiville” waiting for tickets to the North Carolina game, are being treated with antibiotics as a precaution, officials said.

So at what point is getting tickets for this rivalry going too far?

Do kids have to be transferring full-blown AIDS to each other before it stops?

I don’t know, but I’m sure Cartman is HIV positive
