Larissa Riquelme promises to run through the streets of Paraguay naked…again

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before. Paraguayan model and soccer fan Larissa Riquelme wants to run through the streets of Asuncion naked if the national team wins. Original eh? If you recall, Riquelme made that same proclamation during the 2010 World Cup before her home nation of Paraguay made a deep run to the quarterfinals.

“If Paraguay win the Copa America then I shall pose nude on the pitch,” she said as she gestured in the direction of the Brigadier General Estanislao Lopez stadium before today’s match against Ecuador. “I think we’ll do well at the Copa,” forecast Riquelme, who intends to follow all her country’s matches on the spot.

Riquelme deserves credit for her willingness to bare all for her countrymen–truly a noble deed. But at this point, who hasn’t seen her naked. She’s been in Playboy Brazil, the Diario Popular newspaper, Paparazzo and probably a host of other places on the internet I don’t care to look lest I get nasty spyware.

I applaud the enthusiasm, I really do, but let’s try to get a little more creative Ms. Riquelme, shall we?
