LeBron, Wade lead Heat to Game 1 victory; Dirk tears tendon in finger

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for 46 points and the Heat defense held Dallas to a postseason low 37% shooting en route to a 92-84 win in game 1. To make matters worse for the Mavericks, Dirk Nowitzki tore a tendon on the middle finger of his non-shooting hand. It appears Dirk won’t miss any time because of the injury but he’ll have to wear a splint the rest of the series.
