Lenny Dykstra and Jose Canseco will meet in celebrity boxing match
A. Isaac In perhaps one of the lamest celebrity boxing stunts we’ve ever seen, former baseball losers Jose Canseco and Lenny Dykstra will fight on November 5th. I’m pulling for a double-knockout and/or double-disqualification after several low blows to what I can only imagine is very small testicles.
Here’s Lenny Dykstra trying to get people to buy tickets by stirring up some contrived BS.
“Canseco ruined my career by spreading lies. I called Tareq and begged him to let me take his place in the upcoming fight against Canseco,” said Dykstra in a statement.
And here’s more from Dykstra’s business manager, Dan Herman:
“Lenny is fighting for his good name in baseball. Lenny’s life for the last two years has been upside down mainly because of snitches.
Jose Canseco responded on his Twitter account with multiple links to the fight. He’s a great self-promoter after all.
Yes, it’s a brutally slow sports day.
