Lindsey Jacobellis fails to qualify in Snowboard Cross

Four years ago at the Torino Olympics, Lindsey Jacobellis had the gold all sewn up in Snowboard Cross. But with an insurmountable lead, Jacobellis tried to hot-dog the last jump and it cost her. She fell on her back and had to settle for silver.
Four years later, Jacobellis sought redemption. And unfortunately for her, she failed miserably. Coming out of a jump early in her qualifying race, she made contact with another competitor and veered off the course.

“It’s definitely not the end of the world for me,” Jacobellis said. “It’s unfortunate that the rest of the world only sees this race and the one four years ago.
“I guess I don’t have a great track record with the general public.”
In her defense, between Olympics she was regarded as one of the best snowboarders in the world. Also, in her defense, she’s pretty cute and one hell of a hula-hooper.
I think we’re all willing to forget this whole snowboard failure thing if she’s willing to take on the Wii Fit Hula Hoop in a bikini.
That would appease the masses.
